Hi, my name is Irina Chapman. I am passionate about health you can achieve by making changes to diet and lifestyle.
Like most kids, I wanted to work with animals when I grew up. But I studied law and worked in the hospitality and events industry instead!
I have now completed 2 years of study of the Bachelor of Nutrition degree at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. I understand a bit more now about our source code – chemistry and biochemistry. Researching health and nutrition is no longer my hobby – it will be my work very soon, and I am excited!
Chronic disease is so common now that it seems to redefine “normal” health in modern humans. Yet, it’s all simple really – eat real food and move your body, don’t stress and get enough sleep – all you need to improve health. By removing processed snacks and sugary drinks I have seen a big improvement in my children’s behaviour.
I will share the personal experiments and lifehacks I’ve gathered on my journey!
In my spare time, I play tennis and go to the beach or bushwalking. I also love camping in the beautiful Australian countryside with my family and friends.
I am very active in Russian and Ukrainian-speaking communities in Australia. At home, I only speak Russian and Ukrainian to my children to ensure they grow up trilingual.
My goal is to become a practicing Dietician, who is well-versed in the low-carb and ketogenic approaches – few of those around, but the tide is changing! Let’s dive in!
